Robbrecht is regarded as one of the best young bayan players of his generation. As an active chamber musician he is frequently heard on national and international stages, e.g. Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Philharmonie Luxembourg, Palacio de Festivales Santander, Bachfestival Dordrecht, Ghent Festival van Vlaanderen, International Chamber Music Festival Utrecht as well as in many Dutch concert halls and theatres.

He made his debut as a soloist with the Stift Festival Orchestra playing Gubaidulina’s double concerto Sieben Worte and Shalygin’s concerto Angel for bayan and strings. In 2024, he performed as a soloist with Phion Orchestra together with cellist Maja Bodanović in Golijov’s Azul. Robbrecht joined several renowned ensembles and chamber orchestras e.g. Ensemble Black Pencil, Postland Collectief and Camerata RCO.

As a music theater performer, he played in productions of the Dutch Touring Opera, Theater Sonnevanck, Festival Dag in de Branding and Holland Opera. In 2021 he became a member of the Amsterdam-based Oorkaan Ensemble, specialized in creating staged concerts.
